As a TASS Dual Career Accredited Site, St John Rigby College provides an environment where talented student-athletes are supported to pursue their sporting ambitions alongside a high-quality sixth form education.

Our dual-career approach recognises that every athlete’s journey is different. We work in partnership with student-athletes, families and sporting organisations to understand individual training and competition demands and support students to manage these alongside their studies. Support can include academic flexibility around recognised sporting commitments, help with missed learning, mentoring and guidance, and consideration of assessment arrangements where appropriate.

Our aim goes beyond accommodating sporting commitments. We want young athletes to develop the independence, resilience, confidence and personal skills to thrive in sport, education and life, complementing TASS’s commitment to developing talented athletes both within and beyond their sport.
