Over 300 student-athletes benefit from the performance programme every year
The University of Exeter is a TASS Dual-Career Accredited site, delivering core support services to elite athletes in full or part time education as part of our Performance Programme.
Over 300 student-athletes benefit from the performance programme every year, including almost 100 dual career athletes who are all competing at an international level or are professionally contracted with premiership clubs or equivalent. Our dual career athletes receive financial support in the form of a Sports Scholarship or Bursary to support their sporting expenses whilst they are studying at the University of Exeter.

The Performance Programme offers dual career athletes a comprehensive package of support services including 1-1 lifestyle support, academic flexibility options and support, sports specific coaching, strength and conditioning, physiotherapy, sports psychology, nutrition, performance analysis and a range of performance athlete workshops. The support provided is tailored to suit the needs of each individual athlete.
