At Highworth Grammar School, we are committed to helping students achieve excellence both academically and in their sporting pursuits. Through our partnership with the Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS), funded by Sport England, we provide a dedicated support programme for students competing at regional, national, or international level in their sport. We understand the unique challenges that come with balancing rigorous training and competition schedules with academic expectations, and we are here to help students succeed in both areas.

Our Dual Career programme offers flexible academic arrangements, tailored mentoring, and regular workshops focused on athlete wellbeing, performance, and personal development. Students are encouraged to take pride in representing both their sport and the school, acting as positive role models within our community. Their achievements are regularly celebrated through school assemblies, digital displays, and newsletters. With personalised guidance and a strong support network, we ensure that talented athletes are empowered to thrive in school and in sport—now and into their future careers.
