More about this site

The Dual Career Accreditation complements our vision of enabling supporting talented dual career individuals find and manage the balance between attaining a highly regarded degree from a leading Russell Group university and high performance sport and maximise their potential in both, without having to sacrifice one for the other. The dual career support at Birmingham aims not only to improve students’ performances whilst at university, but to successfully prepare them for life beyond university also by providing them with the necessary transferable skills, tools and experiences. Like a number of dual career individuals at the University of Birmingham, this may mean transitioning to become a full-time, professional athlete or could include progressing in their chosen career.
