More about this site
Within the University Sports Centre there is an impressive strength and conditioning room, which is where many of our high level athletes train on a day to day basis. The Centre also boasts a Team Training Room, which has a custom designed training rig, a competition sized permanent boxing ring, a turf area for speed and agility drills as well as prowler work and a full array of free weights.
Many of our current TASS athletes are coached here privately for their strength and conditioning sessions on a 1-2-1 basis with their coach. As well as strength and conditioning support a range of services such as physiotherapy, sports nutrition and sports psychology advice can be facilitated by the Sport Service so that no aspect of performance is left unturned and we help you to be the best athlete you can be.
