University of East London
Our experienced team includes practitioners who have been working with TASS athletes for almost 20 years.
The University of East London is a careers-led university, dedicated to supporting the development of skills, emotional intelligence and creativity needed to thrive in a constantly changing world. We work with global organisations to make our courses entrepreneurial, creative, and inspirational.
UEL has made a significant investment in sports scholarships and athlete support services, and we currently support approximately 135 sports scholars on our High Performance Programme, 40 TASS athletes, and athletes on the Sport England-funded ‘Flete East London.
We are committed to delivering a high satisfaction rate across all of our sports service provision and this commitment extends to the TASS programme.
Athletes access strength and conditioning coaching and physiotherapy in our dedicated high-performance space at Aqua East, where they can train alongside university scholars, professional sportspeople and other TASS athletes from a variety of sports.
In addition to the regular TASS services, we provide athletes with a complimentary membership to SportsDock, which allows them access to the public gym, daily exercise classes and off-peak court hire for additional practice. Additional facilities available for use include ice-baths and recovery boots.
